Drug Free APS

Hello, APS is celebrating Red Ribbon Week. I loved seeing all the students/staff in red today and can't wait to see all of our Duck Commanders tomorrow. We are living proof that you can learn and have a little fun at the same time. Check back later for pictures.

APS Update!

APS had a wonderful September and a great start to October.  Our teachers, students, volunteers and staff worked extremely hard to make APS a wonderful place for learning.  We also were able to have a good time with Chic-Fil-A Spirit Night and Farm Day.  APS also had the privilege of having Author Michael Finklea as our special guest.  Our school closed out September with a wonderful Kid's Day on the Farm and our October is starting off with a bang as well.  We are currently hosting our annual KidCheck.

I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Moore and family at Chic-Fil-A for allowing us to benefit from another Chic-Fil-A Spirit Night.  Please go by and see them and Eat More Chicken!

Michael Finklea paid APS a visit.  He was great with the children and did his part to spark an interest in  reading.  Please look him up on the web at www.michaelfinklea.net/

Thank you to AHS FFA.  Heath Golden and Gary Aycock have done a wonderful job the last four years in hosting our APS Farm Day.  The teachers look forward to it every year as do I.  It was a great learning experience for our children.  Albertville should be very proud of your FFA students.  They did a great job in hosting each animal station.  We also had many local volunteers help with the special event.  Thank you very much to all that helped.

APS annual KidCheck is a great event that occurs for the our students' wellbeing.  Thank you Nurse Dana, Nurse Beasley and Nurse Starkey for your hard work.  I would also like to thank everyone that took part in making KidCheck a success.

Please check back for updates on APS.  Thank you
