Upcoming Events

Hello,

I am so blessed to work with such wonderful children.  I just walked the APS halls and saw so many hard working and happy students.  Our teachers and staff are doing a great job teaching your kids.  I wanted to take some time to give you a heads up on a few upcoming events:

1. Our Chocolate Fundraiser ends on Wednesday.  All money and orders are due Wednesday September 19.
2. We are having Penny Wars all week.  Ask your child for details.
3. We are having a Title I parent meeting on Tuesday Sept 25 at 6:00.  All parents are invited.
4. Next Wednesday and Thursday (26th and 27th), our 1st graders will be celebrating Johnny Appleseed.  Check teacher newsletters and blogs for details.

Chic-Fil-A

APS is having a great start to the 2012-13 school year.  Teachers and staff are working hard so that our students can reach their great potential.  We have APS Chic-Fil-A night tonight.  Please go to Chic-Fil-A tonight and a portion of the proceeds will benefit APS.  I look forward to seeing you at Chic-Fil-A.

APS is off to a wonderful start to the new year.  Teachers are committed to teaching students and I see evidence of that every day.  The children are working hard to hone skills and are gaining more knowledge by the hour.  I am off to observe a classroom in a few moments, have a great day.

My name is Adam Hampton.  I am happily married to Josie Stapler Hampton and have one wonderful son named Cade.  I am a Christian and I attend New Salem Baptist Church.  I grew up in Owens Cross Roads, Al and graduated from New Hope High School.  I graduated from Athens State University and finished my education at the University of Alabama.  I love my job.  I work in a great school with a wonderful faculty that loves teaching children.   I have many interests including Alabama football, hunting,fishing, and traveling.  I most enjoy spending time with my family and friends.   Please check back to see if I have anything new for you.
